Character InspirationCharacter and film What you like about them How will you apply in your opening sequence (what was inspirational about them) • Nina’s makeup represents her as being the dark swan depicting her eyes as dark and mysterious. • Nina’s makeup also portrays her as the good swan as her face is pure white suggesting there is a side of purity. • Both using the contrast between black and white. Giving the “Porphyria” a dull makeover particularly around her eyes like the black swan depicts her wicked character with a miserable look which is like Porphyria. • Her eyes emerge with the difference of her skin. • Her eyes underscore her facial representation. • Her facial expression allows us to understand her evilness Her makeup can be used in the opening sequence in light of the fact that the eyes depict her as being the wicked character. • The natural makeup look allows you to understand her innocence and the fact that she is young . • The natural makeup look could portray a sense of vulnerability within this characters personality. We decided to choose a natural makeup look which portrays her innocence and may suggest that she's vulnerable.
