Character Inspiration Character and film What you like about them How will you apply in your opening sequence (what was inspirational about them) “Orphan” • The child represents the Kate as her facial expressions show her up as mysterious and freaky. A dull makeover particularly around her eyes like the black swan depicts her wicked character with a miserable look which is like the child from orphan. “The Grady twins” • Their clothing portrays them as innocent and freaky at the same time Their dresses portray them as vulnerable and innocent whereas their facial expressions are shown as mysterious and peculiar. “Wild Child” • Katia got her look from the movie “Wild Child”. She is portrayed as a rebellious character who pays very little attention to what people think about her appearance. We decided to choose the colourful hair extensions and the black rebellious clothing for example the top which has green writing stating “You buy em and I’ll drink em” emphasising how rebellious her character is and that she is a young teenager.

Actor Judy Ibelgauptiene Inspired by Orphan How is this character represented? She is represented as innocent, vulnerable, mysterious and peculiar due to the idea of her facial expressions being quite mysterious.

Character: “Katherine” Role in opening sequence Catherine Costume & Props Black shiny pants, black sneakers, black top with green rebellious writing on it, red and purple extentions, blue scarf, strapless bra, red lipstick, big purple leopard bag, sleeve tattoo, blue underwear. Her hair is back combed with different colored extensions. For the makeup we will use black eye liner on Katia’s eyes with bright red lipstick to emphasise her facial expressions.
