Milestone reports can be used to track key dates. Milestone report authors are automatically notified of update requirements. Notifications are automatically sent to predetermined groups when slippage occurs. Distributed reports are converted to PDF and archived in the EdgeBuilder project database.

EdgeBuilder provides a common place to generate, receive, and organize all correspondence. By acting as a communication hub for the project, EdgeBuilder eliminates the chaos and risk of storing documents in various email accounts, piles of faxes, and paper. Beyond simply saving time, EdgeBuilder can validate document delivery, ensure document integrity, and help share and protect project documents.

EdgeBuilder allows separate project databases to be dynamically linked to allow selected information to be passed from one database to the other. Users know where everything is, which is especially important after the project has been completed and archived. 2. You don’t have to be connected to the internet to use EdgeBuilder. Often there is no connection – or a slow connection – on the jobsite. 3. Because all documents reside within a single database, it’s easy to create a complete archive without worrying about external dependencies. 4. With the user interface, we’ve tried to imitate the paper forms people are familiar with. What you see on the screen is what the other person gets, which gives some comfort when using EdgeBuilder. Many other systems don’t provide this feature. 5. The Ball in Court module helps make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
