However, I didn’t leave, I spent time to think about how to make the club better. Then, I’ve run a big lobby campaign “I’m listening” – I called or personally met with EVERY members to collect their opinions. However, Young Marketer was very special, it truly and deeply inspired me. It made me feel like a fool and motivated me to learn more. I did not won high prize, but I was given a precious present for my Marketing career path: PASSION.” Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program 2013 The Story Behind: “I have tried for this program 3 times. First in 2010, I failed because of poor English and lack of skills. Thus, I spent a year to improve everything and came back in 2012. However, I failed again because of the arrogant attitude. Finally, I’ve made it this year. I’m very proud of myself, not because of being a national representative, it’s because I know that, at least, I did not give up and I tried to be better after every fail. - 5. ELITE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2013 & ME To whom it may concern, My name is Lê Hoàng Thạch – A fresh graduated student of Foreign Trade University. I make this self-introduction as an effort to ask for an exceptional place in Elite Development Program 2013. I know that every members of this program has tried their best in many ways to earn a spot: taking part in the contest, Trying the wildcard round or doing well in assignments every weeks. Have just been back from SSEAYP and already missed 3 weeks, I have nothing to compare with them. However, I really want to be with you, to be a part of this special program, and it will be a shame if I do nothing to make it happen. In the past, whenever there is still be hope, I will always try my best. For Elite Development Program 2013, I can contribute an endless effort in learning and a promise to make an enormous improvement from a humble start. Finally, I know that there’s a rule that we can’t miss more than 2 weeks. Following the rules is something that is very normal, but Elite and Young Marketer are the place for the extraordinary things. I’m not here to convince you to break the rules, but let’s go beyond them. Until now, I’ve never broken any rules in my life, I just go beyond to fulfill my dream.
