Scenario
Embedded system has become an important subsystem in vast of electronic systems and
devices. In academia, datashow projector is an example of device that has embedded system,
especially in its remote control device. Furthermore, industry uses measurement
instrumentations that depend on embedded systems. For instance, a tachometer is an
instrument which measures the rotation speed of a shaft or disk. It is designed to measure the
revolutions per minute (RPM) of a moving object. In order to design embedded systems,
designers mainly use microcontroller chip as the main component. Furthermore, software
interface can facilitate the use of embedded systems.
You are an embedded-system specialist in a factory. You have already designed and
implemented a tachometer instrument to measure the speed of motors. Your manager asked
you to design and implement a software interface for the implemented tachometer.

In this task, you need to write on the following:
The visual programming capabilities of MIT App Inventor website for designing microcontroller
interfaces for Android operating system.
Task 2:
In your factory, the manger asked you, as embedded system specialist, to enhance the capabilities of the
implemented tachometer device by designing and implemented a software interface. Therefore, you need to
provide the following:
1- The algorithm of the firmware.
2- The developed source code (working correctly) of the firmware.
3- Software user interface for the device using MIT App Inventor.
Hint: The evidence required for this task is a recorded video of your work.
