INTRODUCTION
• This presentation is intended to be used in
context of “DESIGN THINKING and ACTION
LAB” an online course offered by Stanford
University.
• The person interviewed is an engineer in Oil and
Gas Industry having an Instrumentation
Bachelors Degree from an Indian university.
• He is having an experience of 5 years.
SAY
• Q1 : How do you think was your schol life?
• A1 : Completely satisfied , I think school is for learning and one
must focus on studies only.
• Q2 : How do you take your College life?
• A2 : I completely enjoyed in college, I realized that apart from
studies friendship, family , relationships , co curricular activities etc
all are important.
• Q3 : How you see your interview for first Job?
• A3 : I got my job just on interpersonal skills and not on education
basis. Thus studies didn’t play a major role in getting job.
• Q4 : How you feel a transition from college to workplace ?
• A4 : In college there were teachers who could solve our queries,
but here in Job I didn’t find any.
DO
• James , the person whom I interviewed is an
Engineer having 5 years experience .
• He is enthusiastic to learn new technical things.
• His actions conveyed his keen ness towards
learning.
• He is satisfied with his life , he is happy and
content.
THINK
• James is happy with his life.
• His life, work place culture all is going
smooth.
• He is gratified to god and feel himself
lucky.
• He has thirst for Learning which could help
him in his JOB.
FEEL
• James is a Happy person , not having
much problems in life.
• His life is going smooth.
• He desire is to learn more technical stuff,
but cant getting the correct way to attain
knowledge.
Problem statement
• (James who is a strong built, having small eyes,well combed hairs, a chin
beard with spects) _need a way _(to find out a
method of learning new
technical skills which could
help him in his JOB)_because ( he
desires to learn. He is keen towards learning and development.)
