The paper introduces the Energy Location Aware Routing Protocol (ELARP), a reactive multipath routing protocol tailored for Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs) that enhances Quality of Service (QoS) by establishing three energy-aware paths for multimedia data transmission. By considering the residual energy and distance to the sink of nodes, ELARP aims to reduce end-to-end delay and improve packet delivery ratios while minimizing energy consumption. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of ELARP in managing QoS in multimedia data transmission within WMSNs.
