Engrade is a grading system and social network for classes. It allows students to log in, change account settings including adding a profile picture and password, view class and assignment details and due dates in the calendar. Students can message teachers privately and discuss assignments publicly. Assignments can be submitted by uploading files and previewing submissions before finalizing. Grades are then viewable to students. The system aims to facilitate online grading, communication and submission of schoolwork digitally.

- 2. 1. Log in Click on “Login” (not “Join Now”!) Fill in the username and password that I give you. You can change your password later.

- 11. 9. Discussions Engrade has the “Messages” app (like e-mail), and it also functions as an SNS with the “Discussions” app. Each assignment has its own discussion thread. You can use this to ask questions about an assignment, to comment, and also to submit URLs, but not files (no attachments). The URLs will not be hyperlinked. Remember that unlike “Messages”, what you post in the “Discussions” area will be seen by everyone in our class.
- 12. 10. Turn-ins This is one way to submit assignments digitally. You can “turn in” (submit) files – by attaching documents and photos from your computer.
