Introduction

On this form you should give examples from your work against each of the specific statements below, which are
based on the Engineering Council Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC). Further detailed
guidance can be found in UK-SPEC, should you need it.

The assessors will be looking for one or two clearly written examples from your work. Maximum word counts are
specified in the boxes on the application form

If you need further guidance to complete the Evidence Statement, you may wish to speak to a Professional
Registration Advisor (PRA) or other suitably trained and qualified person. Your PRA can be located at:

Competence B

          Give an example of how you have applied a combination of theoretical and practical methods to analyse
CEng      and solve a technical/engineering problem. This may include the identification of a potential project where
          you have conducted appropriate research to design and develop an engineering solution.
        Give an example of how you have applied theoretical and practical methods to design, develop,
IEng    manufacture, construct, commission, operate, maintain, decommission or recycle a technical/ engineering
        process, system, service or product.
