- 2. For my double page spread, one of the very first things that I did was bring my Masthead into my double page spread. I felt this was something essential that I had to do as it keeps the name of the magazine in people ‘s minds, due to it being a new issue/magazine.
- 3. In terms of the text for both my title and my text in terms of the content, I used a sans serif font. On the left hand side where my title is I used a standard sans serif font but coloured it in red as this is the main house style colour for my magazine as well as it being a popular colour. With my content, I also used a sans serif font but used a font called “Elephant”. I felt as if the sans serif font was appropriate for my magazine as sans serif is more of a modern font and I wanted to replicate this modern vibe throughout my magazine.
- 4. This here is the overall finished product for my double page spread. Something that was key about this the image. Instead of having a normal white background, I enlarged the image ad used the gradient tool to fade out one side of the picture to give it more of unique style effect. I believe this added to the appeal of my magazine as it was a bit different from others.
