F5 Broadens Platform Offerings with New Virtual and Hardware-Based Application Delivery Controllers

F5 broadened its platform offerings with new virtual and hardware-based application delivery controllers. This includes the introduction of the BIG-IP 8950 and 11050 hardware devices with throughput of 20Gbps and 42Gbps respectively, as well as virtual editions of the BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager for testing and production use with variable throughput levels. The new options provide customers more flexibility in deploying application delivery controllers both on-premise and across hybrid cloud environments.
