![INT. SPACESHIP MONITOR ROOM. NIGHT
The scene opens to FRANKIE sat in the spaceship’s monitor
room. ALEX walks into the room, opening the door with a HISS
ALEX
Afternoon
FRANKIE
It’s night time, Jackass.
ALEX
Lay off it, Frankie, just woke up
from Cryo.
FRANKIE
It’s your addiction to Cryo that’s
keeping both of us stuck in here.
People are dying out there and all
we can do is watch, so get your ass
in gear, and do what you’re paid to
do.
FRANKIE SIGHS and then we then see her attempting to
reconnect their signal with the rest of their crew, who had
set off on a rescue mission only a few days earlier.
FRANKIE
Rescue team, do you read? [Pause]
Rescue team, are you there?
ALEX
Forget it Frankie, they’re as good
as dead in there. I told them it
wasn’t worth it, but did they
listen?...
ALEX leans back on his chair, making it SQUEAK. He LAUGHS to
himself in reply to his own question.
FRANKIE
Can it, Alex, you’ve been asleep
for days, you know nothing, mother-
The ship’s alarm system then begins to ring out with
DEAFENING urgency, flooding the room with red light.
ALEX
No, this can’t be right at all...
FRANKIE TYPES furiously on her keyboard, bringing up data on
the ship’s defenses. One monitor shows real-time footage of
strange humanoid creatures breaking through into the ship.

- 3. CONTINUED: 2. FRANKIE But I’m sure I checked the security measures after everyone left. Nothing should be able to get in. The main door to the ship crashes open with a loud BANG. ALEX Too late for regrets now, Frankie. ALEX stands up from his chair cautiously and walks towards the door, peeking out of the window, to see aliens tearing the ship apart. FRANKIE This is bad. FRANKIE walks towards ALEX and joins him at the door. FRANKIE takes out her gun, CLICKS off the safety and reaches out to open the door. ALEX What do you think you’re doing? FRANKIE Someone has to do something at least, and I don’t see you doing anything. ALEX You don’t know what you’re up against. FRANKIE slides open the door and begins to walk out of the monitor room, and OPENS FIRE on the aliens in the room, while ALEX bangs on the door. ALEX FRANKIE! FRANKIE! ALEX watches as FRANKIE is ambushed by the aliens. FRANKIE can be heard SCREAMING, and the aliens can be heard attacking by SCRATCHING and RIPPING. ALEX RUNS to the other side of the room, pulling an air vent off the wall with an audible CLANK. After crawling through the air vent, ALEX pulls off another air vent with another audible CLANK, arriving in the armory
- 4. 3. INT. SPACESHIP ARMORY. NIGHT ALEX grabs a gun from a shelf, and LOADS it with bullets. He readies the gun with a SNAP and walks slowly towards the door with slow FOOTSTEPS. ALEX can also be heard BREATHING HEAVILY at this point, the sounds of the aliens can also be heard through the door. When he approaches the door, he stops. ALEX This is for you, Frankie... 3... 2... 1... ALEX HITS a button which opens the door with a HISS. The chaos in the room ALEX is looking into falls silent. ALEX Come and get me. The chaos begins again, and the aliens RUN towards ALEX and the scene cuts straight to gameplay.
