Common Core Standards • Students will have digital demand. • “4 Cs: critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration- all important components of the Common Core State Standards (P21.org).” • All of these skills are part of the Common Core State Standards and provide readiness for students’ career and college futures.
- 3. Framework for 21st Century Learning • A framework of knowledge, skill and expertise for students to master in order to succeed in the future. It is a combination of knowledge, specific skills, expertise and literacies (www.P21.org)
- 5. Google Docs and Drive • Ability to store different files- documents, or images. • Teacher and students collaborate. • Free storage.
- 6. Students keep adding to the paragraph by typing and inserting pictures from images in the google drive itself.
- 7. Second Grade • Students who are below, at , or above grade level proficiency can continue succeeding with the Common Core Standards by using their Google accounts.
- 8. O’Reilly • According to O’Reilly (2005) a Web 2.0 has some principal features. • It is a service that is not packaged in software. It does not cost anything to users. It is easy accessible where it can be used from different devices (2005).
