The student learned several skills between their preliminary and final tasks for this project. For the preliminary task, they learned how to use a camera, properly frame shots, and execute shot reverse shot sequences. While pleased with the result, they identified areas for improvement like matching shots more smoothly. For the final task of creating a film title sequence, the student applied the skills they developed earlier. They felt the final product was much better thanks to skills like framing, matching shots, and incorporating more shot varieties. Additional skills learned for the final task included using a boom mic and new camera settings. Areas for further improvement included minimizing costume and lighting mismatches between shots.
