Kurt Lemke presented on using the game Classcraft to support Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in schools. Classcraft allows teachers to gamify PBIS by tracking positive behaviors that earn experience points and inappropriate behaviors that reduce health points. Students are motivated to help each other through powers like healing. The analytics feature in Classcraft provides data on individual student behaviors that can be used for behavior modification, parent conferences, and other purposes.
