Continuum of procedures for  encouraging  expected behavior Sweet Job! Be Safe  Be Respectful  Be Responsible (Circle One) Student ________________ Staff ________________ Date ________________ High Five Stickers
Example of Individual Consequence:  “Caught being good” Tickets I was a star today! _______________________________________________ (Student’s Name) Be Responsible Be Respectful Be Safe ___________________________________________ (Teacher’s Name) ____________________________________________ (Date)
Continuum of procedures for  encouraging  expected behavior Classroom Leader Chains  Each classroom has a paper chain hanging beside their door that the students work to grow throughout the school year   Students (class) must "get caught" being a leader (following the expectations even when no one is watching)  Each staff members is allotted chain links to give to students who are being proactive following the expectations When the class's chain reaches the floor they receive special recognition/class reward  Class vote on the prize they want to work for such as a popcorn party, extra computer, recess, or free time.   School wide announcement
Seeing the Big Picture. . . Encouraging Positive Behaviors Classroom Compliment Chains (tier 1- classwide) Caught being good Tickets (tier 1- individual students) Discouraging Negative Behaviors “ Make it Right Steps” 1. Warning 2. Privilege Loss- 5 min max 3. Internal Time Out- 6 min (other teacher pass) Behavior Journal 4. Call Home/Work- Student or Teacher 5. ODR- Office Discipline Referral  Tier 2 Procedures Alamo City School District
