Satellite-based Navigation and Landing
is achieved by overcoming the inherent
challenge (distortion due to ionospheric
and tropospheric irregularities) involved
in the transmission of satellite signals to
the ground and aircrafts.

GAGAN (SBAS) Integration helps achieve enhanced
accuracy in correcting ionospheric error(s).
Zero outrage of GNSS signals.

GNSS constellations (post approval of ICAO) viz. IRNSS
(India), Galileo (EU), QZSS (Japan), etc.
Greater accuracy, resulting in safer and more reliable
navigation and instrument landing, with reduced
downtime.
Facilitates bad weather, low visibility landings from all
allowed directions.
Navigation and landing for UAS, UAVs Drones,
Helicopters and Aircrafts.
Correction of navigation error enables DCPS (Differential
Correction Positioning Service) of GBAS.
DCPS and enhanced accuracy of GNSS by GBAS, also,
creates navigation infrastructure for an unmanned
management of drone traffic.
Enables deployment of 5G network without disturbing air
traffic.

DCPS reduces clearance requirement over obstacles,
enabling provisioning of more precise RNAV within a
radius of 350 kms of an equipped aerodrome.
Safer flight operations in mountainous terrain
during low visibility.
Facilitates operations at strategic locations and
during abnormal situations conducted by para-
military, military, and disaster management teams.
Single installation is capable of instrumenting multiple:
Airstrips (with multiple approaches).
Touchdown Points
Glide Paths (based on types of aircrafts).
Smaller aerodromes / airstrips in the vicinity* of
the equipped location i.e., helipads at
healthcare facilities, private airstrips, flight
training schools, etc.
*Precision approach can be achieved only within a distance of 20 NMs, provided there are no obstructions, like hills,
building, etc., on the glide path.

• Enhance accuracy of positioning services enables:
 “Rapid Response Teams” like health care, law enforcement and disaster management, to
function more efficiently.
 Deployment of navigation system for in-land waterways becomes, much faster, economical and
scalable (within the RNAV coverage of 350 Kms).
• Deployment of GBAS on off-shore oil fields, enables time-sensitive supply of spares; supplies;
transporting engineers and safer aircraft operations. Additionally, it enables efficient management of
sea ports, instrumented navigation of amphibious vehicles (like hovercrafts and sea-planes) and
