Thank you for connecting! I came across your profile via the Dean’s Student Advisory Council and then noticed
you’ve participated in Ryla before. A whole generation before you though! Do any of these faces ring a

I was really drawn by your vision for building community and I can tell you have invested a lot in discovering
yourself (in terms of vision and emotionally) as shown by your participation in Landmark at such a young age.
That’s really impressive because having worked with many young students before in the past, many walk out of
school no clue who they are and why they do what they do.
I don’t know how you get so involved in that many things while attending school. When I was in school, I was
always envious of students like you that seemed like they perform advanced circus juggling while doing their make-
up at the same time!
In any case, a bit about me. My background is in non-profit community development in various spaces focusing
mainly on aboriginal, environmental and youth development. Was really frustrated in that space because of red
tape and discovered the most effective way to create impact isn’t through the development of workshops and
projects but through the investment into people. Fast forward and I was able to connect with a local entrepreneur
Cho Lim and we have since partnered to equip individuals to become pillars of support within their community. We
hope to inspire, equip and support these individuals with the skills and financial resources to create effective
grassroots impact.
Not sure if you're open to develop yourself and impact others outside of your school activities and Landmark at the
moment... but at very least it seems like we share a ton of similar values. Would be an honor to learn more about
your vision and future plans and see if I can support and connect you with some people at the very least!
