Ipad buttons
The buttons on the ipad are: the Power button, silent/screen rotation, volume
buttons + up and - down, and the main button is the home button. Note on newer
ipad models don’t have a silent/screen rotation button on the left side of ipad.
The accessories that come with your ipad are the USB power adapter and
lightning/dock connector cable.
Unlocking/ lock screen features
Unlocking your iPad
In order to start using your ipad
you need to wake up your ipad
from sleeping. To do this their
are two ways: the 1st way is to
press on the home button. The
2nd way is to press the power
button. Reminder you do this
every time you lock (put to
sleep) your ipad. Home

Remember
you do this every time your
trying to wake up your ipad
Lock Screen Features
You can take quick pictures
right from the lockscreen. You
can view Notification center
and control center. Even see
the time and the date with the
day of the week. You also get
your Notifications on emails
and more.

Lock Screen Features Quick Pictures
Step 1: spot the camera icon
(Little picture)
Step 2: To the right side
swipe up or drag the
camera to the top of the
ipad
ALL the pictures you take
do not show up for security
reasons. Only the pictures
you took recently.

bottom to access Notification center

Turning Ipad on and off
To power on the ipad press
power button once. To turn
your ipad off completely
press and hold the power
button until you see “slide to
power” when you do that
you will see in the middle a
circle moving then it turn off.

Waking up the iPad and Sleep mode
To wake up your ipad press
the power button once. You
can also press the home
button once to wake it up. To
put your iPad in sleep mode
also called standby mode
press the power once once
when the display is on.

Connecting to Wifi
Connecting to Wifi
One way to make sure that
you are connected to wifi
look at the top of your
screen. You should see a
signals range of wifi next to
the ipad lettering. If not go
to Settings, Wi-Fi, then press
on Masonic Public without a
lock. Or your personal wifi or
using your data. (Internet plan)

Note: You can use your ipad anywhere with
date for monthly cost
Note you can use any internet app
with your ipad for example on the go
without wifi. You must need a ipad
that supports it, monthly rates apply.

If you want a cellular ipad you must buy one
that stays Wi-FI + Cellular Model also you
must make sure with your phone provider to
choose the right ipad for your carrier's
network. If you know the store you want to by
it from for example AT&T, Tmobile, Sprint,
Verizon. They make it way much easier for
you they help you get started and tell you the
pricing. This is the option for you if you
travel a lot and want access to the internet
on the go when there's no Wi-Fi.

you entered when set up

password is for
downloading apps and
facetiming, messaging and
buying from itunes store.
