Google tools like Google Docs, Sheets, and Sites can be effectively used in POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) classes to facilitate collaboration outside of class. These cloud-based tools provide functionality similar to traditional desktop apps and allow students to simultaneously work on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. The presenter shares examples of how they used Google Sites as a central hub and Google Docs and Sheets for sharing course documents, lab reports, and lab results to enhance collaborative learning.
