Question:
What are you going
to do with pupils not
found in the list?
Prepared by Larry B. Saliga
Answer:
Diligently search for learner record by name and exhaust all
possibility that an LRN already exists in the system
An important first step is to determine if a learner already exists in
the Learner Registry before he/she can be enrolled for the school
year.
1.Before registration, learner uniqueness must first be established
so that a learner is not assigned more than one LRN. There should
only be one LRN per learner throughout the entire Basic
Education Program.
2.Hence, it is important to search the learner by name. There is a
possibility that a learner record already exists but with the wrong
DOB since DOB was not a required field in the old version.
3. In this case, you must use the LRN that is already in the system
and correct the learner’s date of birth.
