What is the real value of the information? What the format of the information? What security should be applied to the information? What is the lifespan of the information (how long is it valid or useful)? Who is responsible for creating/maintaining the information? Who will be consuming the information? What we should be asking, is: What is the question or story that the user needs to see? So, where should this information live? On premises, in the cloud? SharePoint? Warehouse/Cube/MDM This question is about corporate strategy, security, availability, etc. Spoiler! Your users don’t care They think they care, but they don’t! They think they know, but they don’t!
