Have a Logical Order…
 Presentation should be in a proper order that’s
 Introduction
 Middle
 Conclusion
First Impression Matters…
 Give a mind blowing Impression,Psychologists say that it takes only 7
seconds to make your first impression,so make these 7 seconds count…
There’s no point Doing good work if
others don’t know what you did…
 Realise that you’ve done the best you can and it’ll be appreciated
Body Language…
 Use Good Body language/Gestures
 Use your hands especially showing the palm of hands = Honesty,Nothing to Hide
Less is more…
 The short the presentation is the easy it’s to get what’s to be conveyed
Pick your very best supporting fact…
 Choose the Examples,Evidences and Lines wisely
Have Written Material…
 Have Notes/Handouts…
 A Sticky note with bullet points may be a good idea
Often Use Silence to Emphasize
Points…
 Use your pauses wisely and timely,If done properly it’ll leave your audience
stunned
Eye Contact…
 Make eye contact with the person with who you’re talking to often notice
someone’s distraction and say to him/her ‘Whoever This slide’s for you’
Walk Around a Bit…
 Don’t just stand like a Statue of Liberty/Minaar-e-Pakistan,Move here &
there a little
Be Neat…
 Dress Smartly
 Smile Often
 Say Hello
 Be in a dress to which you like the most,It’ll make you feel comfortable
Be Brief…
Focus on Somebody nodding their head in the room
This’ll give you some Confidence
• Speak Clearly
• Don’t Speak too Quickly
• Life Your head up
Avoid Covering up Slides…
 If time’s enough don’t rush the slides, instead use whatever comes in your
mind in support of the respective slide
Use Larger fonts…
 So the audience/BackBenchers can see clearly
Use Colours…
 Often use colours to give more focus to a word
Use illustrations…
 Us eillistration when necessary, butr don’t overuse them
Include Animations…
 Animations will keep the audience a lot less bored
Be Ready to skip some slides if time’s
short…
Practice…
Use Media Only to Enhance…
 PowerPoint, visuals and video are powerful presentation tools when used
correctly. But they can be disastrous distractions when misused.
Build a Conversation with Audience
 Use Some Humour
 Get them to Speak-Preferably at the end
Being Nervous is good
 It gets you more energized,Practice will reduce nerves
Have a killer closing…
 Believe that’The Only limits are as always those of Vision’
Do have Enough Material for the
Topic…
Handling Q’s and Ans’ is Important…
One more Thing…
Some people live for making
presentations; others consider it their
worse nightmare. It could be five people
in a boardroom or 500 in the audience,
but if you are the presenter the spotlight is
on you. You'll either be the hero or the
goat.
