- 1. How to Setup Lunch in Odoo 18 Enterprise
- 2. Enterprise Introduction In Odoo 18, the Lunch application allows users a convenient way to order food and pay for their meal directly from the database. Lunch in Odoo 18 is a handy application designed to streamline and manage employee lunch orders within a company. It simplifies the process of ordering, tracking, and delivering meals, fostering a more organized and efficient lunch experience. Think of it as your company's dedicated lunch management platform.
- 3. Enterprise We can dive into the Lunch module to get a view like this. Mainly there are three menus My Lunch, Manager and Configuration on the top.
- 4. Enterprise Let’s consider the Configuration menu first. Clicking on the Configuration > Settings menu, we get the following settings like.
- 5. Enterprise There are two settings. The ’Lunch Overdraft’ allows us to set the maximum overdraft amount the employees can receive. The ‘Reception notification’ allows to send message to the users when their order has been delivered.
- 6. Enterprise From the menu Configuration > Locations, we can see the lunch locations. This will be created when Odoo Lunch module is installed. If the company uses multi locations, we can configure them as needed.
- 7. Enterprise With the menu Configuration > Alerts, we can set up the alert messages within the Lunch app or through Discuss module.
- 8. Enterprise A blank form comes when we click on ‘New’. Fill in the desired details and go ahead.
- 9. Enterprise From the menu Configuration > Vendors, Lunch App allows us to create and configure the vendors providing the food.

- 11. Enterprise Clicking on the Configuration > Product Categories, the details can be seen as

Enterprise Now the menu Configuration > Products will give all the products that are created and available in the company through Lunch app. The Product Category and the Vendors will be available from the left pane where we can add the filters and selections. Click on ‘New’ to create a new one.
- 13. Enterprise Now, let’s go to the first menu ‘My Lunch’. From there, use the submenu ‘New Order’. This shows the page where we can select the product to eat, their categories, vendors, our order details, ets. The selected area shows the details of the current order. Use the marked buttons to set the count of the product. The Amount details like total will be auto populated on the right most side.
- 14. Enterprise When a product is selected, the pop up of its details come like below. Then add it to the cart if needed.
- 15. Enterprise Then the order gets updated as below. Click on the ‘Order Now’ button to move forward.
- 16. Enterprise The My Lunch > Order History shows all the orders created so far using the App.
- 17. Enterprise The My Lunch > Account History shows details of the accounts, that is the cash move reports
- 18. Enterprise From the second main menu ‘Manager’, use the submenu ‘Today’s Orders’ showing all the orders in the current date grouped by the vendors by default.
