three different posters, for three different food products, that I have selected.
The first poster, is an image of a Heinz ketchup bottle, created using fresh slices of tomatoes. The
second poster is promoting a Veggie Burger from McDonald s by forming the image of a cow using
various vegetables. While the last poster is for the popular smoothie brand, Naked, in which you see a
healthy looking woman running, with the words Our machines don t run on added sugar or
preservatives and neither will you .

Heinz bottle to be made up entirely of thick slices of tomatoes. The rest of the poster is merely a red

The poster is simple, with only two focal points, the bottle, and the slogan. This forces the consumers
to only focus on what the producer wants them to gather, which is, in this case, the idea of natural and

Introduction Children in the early childhood stage are always striving for independence. They are at
the age where they are learning self control and starting to recognize the needs of others (Ashford
LeCroy, 2013). How do delays in development impact these desires? For my developmental and
biopsychosocial assessment I interviewed a 5 year old boy who I will refer to as John. He was recently
diagnosed with developmental delays, and currently receives speech and physical therapy services.

During the assessment John s mother reported that his speech had improved significantly after seeing
a speech therapist for the past year and a half. She also shared that John was not speaking at all up
until February of 2016, and now he uses one or two word phrases. I saw this during my time with

the speaker states, Nothing would sleep in that cellar, dank as a ditch. We are given that something is
refusing to sleep that is, to die and at the same time being dank gets us thinking about things that are
undead . In line two, the speaker states, Bulbs broke out of boxes hunting for chinks in the dark. This
tells us that things are still growing and they are looking for the light. In the next following line the
speaker mentions, Shoots dangled and dropped (3). This gives us the image of the shoots coming out
of the bulbs. The shoots dangle and droop towards whatever light possible. In line four, the speaker
gives us an idea of the type of housing they are in, mildewed crates. The moisture creates mold and
mildew. It also creates prettier life like plants. As you can see, mold and mildew are life, and they
grow alongside the plants. In line six, the speaker brings us a smell by saying congress. Roethke must
mean just the coming together or gathering of smells. In line seven, the speaker give us another sense
of smell, Roots ripe as old bait, pulpy stems, rank, silo rich, leaf mold, manure, lime, piled against
