This design challenge document outlines a process for partnering with a local organization to increase their social impact through the design of a new product or service. The process involves four phases: HEAR (gathering input through activities like interviews and job shadowing), CREATE (making sense of the collected data to identify opportunities and define solutions), BUILD (building a team and prototyping potential solutions) and DELIVER (developing an implementation plan and identifying required resources). Key activities within these phases include synthesizing research findings, brainstorming solutions using techniques like deferring judgement, building on others' ideas, and focusing on quantity over quality of ideas, as well as gathering feedback on prototypes to iterate designs.
