– Customer Segment
• We believe that young people between 18 and 30 will
use our app frequently (at least once a week) to
search for food promotions nearby them
Hypothesis
• Survey to a sample of 100 young people to check
whether they would use such app frequently.Testing
• If 75% of the surveys state they would like to use the
app on a regular basis (at least once a week).Validation

frequent food promotions ready to be displayed in our
MyNearBite app

• Interview to 20 restaurants in Lisbon to check their
disposition to upload/share food promotionsTesting
• If 70% of the restaurants interviewed show the
willingness to have those frequent promotion

– Value Proposition
• We believe that business and young people would
prefer our app if it has a complementary food delivery
system.
Hypothesis
• Survey to a sample of 150 young and business people
(100+50) to check whether they would get more value
from the app if it has a delivery system
Testing
• If 75% of the interviewees value the delivery system.Validation

• We believe that young and business people find it
simpler for their purpose to navigate in our app than
in existing apps.
Hypothesis
• Survey to a sample of 150 young and business people
(100+50) to check which app they find simpler to use.

• Restaurants value the opportunity to measure the
success of their food promotions in our app (e.g. click
rate on food offer in %)

• If 70% of the restaurants interviewed show the
interest in such featureValidation

weekly basis.
