My case study IBM  Basic blue management program A learning initiative  to meet the changing needs of the employee, organisation and the world
Web 2.0 An initiative  in a fast paced mobile e world
The program incorporates a hybrid blended learning approach. Support through facilitation, online activities and virtual learning spaces. Collaborative learning space where coaching, mentoring and self paced activities take place. The learning is a combination of self directed learning and learning labs
What are the results?
Saving the company close to 200 million in training, travel and loss of productivity Managers retained more from the blended approach Enhanced participation and positive experience
Critical Evaluation  The success of this initiative was underpinned by the commitment and the spending capacity of this company. This may not be the case in smaller organizations. Some job losses Whilst it is tailored for the already  work pressured employee, this could mean working outside work.
