Joanna wants to gain work experience without needing an undergraduate degree so she is not seen as lacking. Some ideas proposed include summer internships, job rotations between industries during college, creating experience groups to teach skills, and online mentoring between people from different backgrounds. Recent under graduated worker, that is already enrolled in a graduation program Joanna needs a way to feel free of responsibilities that are dictated by society but in a way that she doesn’t feel getting behind other people Getting behind other people is seen as not having much diplomas, instead of work experience Problem Statement

New ways of having work experience without needing undergraduated diploma and getting noticed by it Summer internship Job Rotation “Advisor” group of people that do some work for experience Facebook groups that finds problems in other areas of work to get some experience Job rotation during college between some industries and areas Creation of “experience group” that teaches new people the hard learning in some easy steps Implement on industries and brands some reward for people that go across sectors and areas Use some on-line tool to get people from different background to know each other Create a mentoring tool so people can learn from each other Make some groups with VPs to discuss about the importance os experience and share it with other via a webpage

Learning without the feeling of getting behind Travel learning – school + culture + experience Change of seats between countries (between industries and areas) E-learning inside the company – with “real life” experience in other fields Creation of extra projects at the same area that you work, but to work at different stuff (market, area…) Creation of groups between companies that share different learning at different fields Working for the morning (untill 12h) and learning at the afternoon (until 18h) Using lunch time for learning – each day someone could make some speech of small learning that changes life Complementary work and study agenda -Work – Monday to Wednesday - Study – Thursday to Saturday Creation of a channel where you ask what you want to know and people write down what they know the best – the channel makes the correlation and show you how you can make it better

Diplomas are not that cool Pictures are cooler than diplomas – taking some photos of extra achievments could change this feeling Creation of some channel where you put photos of achievements instead of diplomas (linkedin) A learning platform with Business cases presented by people who never went to college A learning platform with Business cases presented by people who did something very different in college Graduation vs profession show people the difference between it with “learning from life experience” cases How my boss change my career try to create some platform where people say how people changed their life and career and not college How many CEO/VP have graduation diploma or MBA? Show them on magazines and explore it

Creation of a magazine where only people who didn’t went to college can write and show their cases Explore the difference among different backgrounds change your job for 1 week with someone totally different Bring one student per week to be your “soul” and be with you for the whole work day routine
