This document discusses improving transparency between blood donors and recipients through a cloud-based blood bank management system. It begins by outlining some of the issues with current manual systems, such as a lack of coordination between hospitals and blood banks. The document then reviews previous related work on blood bank management systems. It identifies key factors to consider for blood donation eligibility, such as age, hemoglobin levels, and being free from diseases. Challenges faced by current blood management systems are also examined, such as addressing fake donors and requests. Finally, donor perspectives during the COVID-19 pandemic are briefly mentioned.
