This paper presents a backstepping control approach for managing the rotor-side converter of a DFIG wind turbine system, optimizing stator active power by ensuring it operates at maximum power point tracking (MPPT). Using MATLAB/Simulink, the study illustrates that this control method effectively regulates power and demonstrates high robustness against parameter variations and disturbances. The results show satisfactory performance with quick transient responses and minimal power ripples.
