The paper presents a hybrid nonlinear control technique combining fuzzy logic and sliding mode control for a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) in wind energy systems to mitigate chattering effects. The proposed fuzzy sliding mode controller (FSMC) aims to enhance performance through simulation studies using MATLAB Simulink, demonstrating effectiveness in controlling active and reactive power. This research highlights the significance of wind energy due to environmental concerns and emphasizes the efficiency of DFIGs in achieving optimal energy production.
