The study presents a modified Rayleigh model for wind speed modeling using measurement data to enhance power plant planning accuracy. Wind speed data was collected over a year using a PCE-FWS 20 measuring instrument, and various statistical methods were employed to test the model's accuracy, showing that the modified Rayleigh distribution effectively minimizes prediction errors. Results indicate that the proposed model aligns closely with actual wind speed characteristics, offering improved predictions compared to traditional Rayleigh models.
