Connect2Learn program overview #r7connect2learn It’s about the learning environment and encourages: • personalized and deeper learning experiences • equitable, innovative and future-oriented learning • student focused learning and not teacher centered instruction Program includes: • Dell Chromebook 11 for all students grades K-12 • Digital citizenship and proper use of technology instruction and supervision • Professional development on designing empowering and engaging lessons in a one-to-one environment • Device management, content filtering (at school and away from school) and use of data for instructional needs

CAT student access initiative Changing the Paradigm: Transform our schools to be more student-centered through the use of effectively applied technology to make their education more relevant, their coursework more meaningful and allow both teachers and students to communicate more effectively. Program includes: • Dell Venue 11 tablets for all students, grade 9 - 12 • Professional development for teachers, technology training for students and teachers • Support plan and loaner pool so student learning is not impacted • Cloud infrastructure to support 24/7 access • Curriculum to maximize (appropriate) the use of the device Patience!
