This document summarizes a success story of using agile projects and the k-infinity semantic graph database to plan construction site security and operations for a large European rail operation. Previously, complex Excel files were used, creating data integration and validity issues. The k-infinity project engaged business experts to develop a flexible data model capturing the many interdependencies between construction tasks, resources, roles, and security measures. Through an iterative process, they addressed planning complexity and ensured a single source of truth, eliminating shadow IT risks to worker and operation safety.
