This document reports on an experimental study of wireless multi-mesh networks (WMNs) aimed at improving coverage and throughput by interconnecting multiple WMNs. The authors explore various routing protocols, specifically the modified link quality source routing (MR-LQSR), and analyze metrics like expected transmission count (ETX) and weighted cumulative expected transmission time (WCETT) to evaluate performance. Results indicate that the throughput of WMNs remains consistent across varying path lengths, suggesting potential for enhanced network performance through the proposed interconnection strategies.
