System and Software Design for Human Resource Management System (HRMS)

BACKGROUND
Once the software requirements have been
analyzed and specified, software design is
the first of the three technical activities –
design, code generation, and testing- that
are required to build and verify the
software.
The designer’s goal is to produce a model
or representation of an entity that will later
be built.
The design step produces a data design, an
architectural design, an interface design,
and a procedural design.[1]
Data Design
The data design is first of four design
activities that are conducted during the
software engineering.
The impact of data structure on program
structure and procedural complexity
causes data design to have a profound
influence on software quality.
Architectural Design
The primary objective of architectural
design is to develop a modular program
structure and represent the control
relationships between modules.
In addition architectural design melds
program structure and the data structure,
defining an interface that enables the data
to flow throughout the program.
Interface Design
Interface design focuses on the three areas
of concern:
1. The design of interface between
software modules.
2. The design of interfaces between the
software and other non-human
producers and consumers of
information.
3. The design of interface between a
human and the computer.
Procedural Design
Procedural design occurs after data,
architectural, and interface designs have
been established.
The procedural design specifies the
algorithmic detail of each of the function
(module) in Process Design Language
(PDL) (Figure 1). [2–5]
SOFTWARE DESIGN
This software will be designed according
to the various modules required to full fill
all requirements uncovered in our
requirement analysis.

It basically represents the service based product for the customer in which a huge data can be shared among various clients or users in a big cloud i.e., cloud computing. Through this paper I would like to enlighten the latest changes going on in the technology of computing and how come this technology is a boon in the field of research efforts. The shift from server to service based technology brought a drastic change in computing technology for eHealth industries. Keywords: cloud computing, eHealth, performance analysis, measurements, standardization and reliability of cloud computing. INTRODUCTION Cloud computing is a term now-a-days getting popular 90% people are aware about it in the field of Computer science and Information technology. In 2013 firstly this term cloud computing used at a conference in San Francisco, afterwards a sharp rise come in workshops and conferences focusing on Cloud computing. Cloud computing provides a shared pool of resources, including data storage space, networks, computer processing power, and specialized corporate and user applications which can be access by more than one user simultaneously. Cloud computing is a new technology which has emerged in the last few years, since 2013. Cloud computing is “a model can provide distributed, rapidly provisioned and configurable computing resources (such as servers, storage, applications, networks and other services), which are on-demand, rapid elastic and measured, to whom have network connections”. Because of availability at low cost of cloud services, there is a rapid trend of adopting cloud computing among enterprises or health related (eHealth) areas in the last few years. METHODOLOGY We search for cloud computing articles to write review on the same at ACM Digital, Library, Springer Link, Science Direct and Google Scholar as a search engine, after the steps of searching, evaluation and alternate reviews, 22 papers were finally selected from the total of 200 papers found from the first search. We believe the selected 22 articles can cover the basic view of the studied area of cloud computing. From the search we found different countries research for the same topic with different results, like, US published 12 articles, Nigeria published 10 articles, and India published 7 articles, and so on. The

The most critical phase of managing system projects is planning. To launch a system investigation, we need a master plan detailing the step to be taken, the people to be questioned, and the outcome expected. The initial investigation has the objective of determining whether the user’s request has potential merit. The major step are defining the user’s requirement, studying the present system to verify the problem, and defining the performance expected by the candidate system to meet user’s requirement. When the initial investigation is completed the user receives a system proposal summarizing the finding and recommendation of the analyst. Before the project can begin, we must estimate the work to be done, the resources that will be required, and the time that will elapse from start to finish. Identification of the role of software must be specified in making its use into the study of a larger system like the Border Road Organization. For it is necessary to take a harder look at software’s role to understand the specific requirements that must be achieved to build a high quality software. Although estimating is as much art as it is science, this important activity need not be conducted in a haphazard manner. Before going to develop the software we have to think about some key question, which is mentioned below: What is it? Who does it Why is it important What are the steps What is the work product How do I ensure that I’ve done it right? The objective of software project planning is to provide a framework that enables the manager to male reasonable estimates of resources, cost, and schedule. These estimates are made within a limited time frame at the beginning of a software project and should be update regularly as the project progresses. The planning objective is achieved through a process of information discovery that leads to reasonable estimates. In the following section, each of activities associated with software project planning: SOFTWARE SCOPE The first activity in software project planning is the determination of software scope function and performance allocated to software during system engineering should be assessed to establish a project scope that is unambiguous and understandable at the management and technical levels. A statement of software scope must be bounded. Software scope describes the data and control to be processed, function, performance, constraints, interfaces and reliability. Functions described in the statement of scope are evaluated and in some case refined to provide more detail

Also its present features can be enhanced by some simple modification in the codes so as to reuse it in the changing scenario. So this paper helps us to understand how to use tools and technology for the development. Keywords: common language runtime, object oriented programming, .NET INTRODUCTION Overview of the .NET Framework The .NET framework is a new computing platform that simplifies application development in the highly distributed environment of the Internet. The .NET Framework is designed to fulfill the following objectives: To provide a consistent object-oriented programming environment whether object code is stored and executed locally, executed locally but internet- distributed or executed remotely. To provide a code-execution environment that minimizes software deployment and versioning conflicts. To provide a code-execution environment that guarantees safe execution of code, including code created by an unknown or semi-trusted third party. To provide a code-execution environment that eliminates the performance problems of scripted or interpreted environments. To make the developer experience consistent across widely varying types of applications, such as Windows- based applications and web-based applications. To build all communication on industry standards to ensure that code based on the .NET framework can integrate with any other code. The .NET framework has two main components: the common language runtime (CLR) and the .NET Framework class library. The common language runtime is the foundation of the .NET Framework. You can think of the runtime as an agent that manages code at execution time, providing core services such as memory management, thread management.
