This document discusses MIMOS' research into Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, including:
- MIMOS has conducted research into wireless sensor networks, 6LoWPAN protocols, mobility protocols for low-power networks, delay tolerant networking, and collaborative communication to enable connectivity between isolated nodes.
- The research aims to develop an IoT architecture that is resilient to network disruptions and supports mobility, with a focus on low complexity, low overhead, and energy efficiency.
- More recent work involves a virtual IP stack to connect devices in real-time and allow control, monitoring and analysis of data, as well as intelligent video surveillance and network security applications of IoT.
