- 4. 4 | P a g e Executive Summary This is the internship report based on the three-month long internship program that I had successfully completed in Studio Bitmap under Mr. Sujit Sarkar, Art Director, Activation, Studio Bitmap, as a requirement of my BBA program on School of Business Studies, North South University. Every hour spent in the office gave me some amount of experience. These are all useful for my career. This report is divided into two phases. In the first phase that is main body of the report I tried to come up with the Overview of the Organization, Department and the People, Assignment and Contribution, Lessons Learned, Interaction with Supervisors and Coworkers, Difficulties Encountered, Differences between Expectations and Experience, how this Internship Influenced Career Plans and What would do differently if had to redo Internship. Basically, I have tried to explain my personal experience in Studio Bitmap in this part. In my second phase of the report I have attached ten weeks of the journal where I have put my experiences, works that have been completed and observation of the internship in Studio Bitmap an interior and exterior designing and execution firm. As a student of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) everyone has to conduct a practical orientation in any organization for fulfilling the requirements of the 10 weeks Internship Program. The main purpose of this internship is to introduce the students with the corporate culture where they can apply their gained knowledge during studies. Preparing a report based on the experience gathered by the intern during his/her workings, is also an integral part for the successful completion of the course. Similarly, this report has been prepared as a partial requirement of undergraduate business program. This report is a complete reflection of my internship experience on Sales Marketing, Digital marketing as well as some other attribute of Studio Bitmap. During my internship program, I have learned different new skills such as organizational skills, communication skills, time management skills, multitasking skill, professionalism etc. All of these skills are absolutely necessary to get succeeded in the corporate world. Apart from these skills, I also got idea about the operational procedure of Event Management. This report is an in-depth analysis of my internship program where my working experience, learning, achievements, observations and contributions are given with proper explanations. This report also talks about my career plan as well as my findings on differences between academic and real world. While working as an intern at Studio Bitmap, I have tried to gain as much knowledge as I could about professional world. And this report is a detailed document of my lessons that I have gathered during the 70 days period.

Such as: HR management, Marketing and Sales Department, Designing Department and accounts department etc. I was appointed for sales and marketing department as well as the designing department. Throughout this report i will discuss about the sales marketing process as well as the working process of the Studio Bitmap. In these industries working process is easier than marketing because here is lots of sales marketing. Here to reach the target market companies use ATL, BTL & TTL. I also experienced with this theory in real life in the Studio Bitmap. Firstly I collected data with the help of my supervisor then I make call over those data and set appointment with the targeted clients, then we physically go over to the clients and let him/her know about our company. Then if needed as per requirement we provide them design if the design is locked then we go for negotiation. If everything goes all right then we took work order from the clients for the confirmation. After the confirmation we ask for advance payment to start the work and rest of the payment is asked within 7 days after the events.

This is the most powerful team in the Marketing and Execution department. Every work needed to be approved by my team before submitting it to the Head of the Department. There were only four members in my team excluding me. My line manager was Sujit Sarkar. In spite of the fact that it was a short trip there yet at the same time I was such a great amount of appended with them and found the opportunity to have some unique learnings and encounters from them. The workplace is additionally benevolent. Indeed, even as an Intern I got opportunity to converse with the CEO straightforwardly. - 11. 11 | P a g e Assignments and Contribution As an Intern in Studio Bitmap, I worked with many experts. They gave me chance to learn hands-on practical experience during my Internship. I was permitted to work in a perfect domain there that will help me in future. Likewise, my seniors were liberal and dependably assisted me with my tasks. In Bitmap, my first assignment was with the Dhaka International Textile & Garments Machinery expo’ 2018. From the first week, I was working on it. For that program my activity was Prepared a list of target clients/ Companies. Made cold calls for letting them know about us & our purpose. Wrote various E-mail and proposal letter and send it to clients. Asked for an appointment for the meeting. Fixing meeting schedule. Maintained and updated the customer databases. Made a different kind of official presentation. Attended corporate meeting. Followed-up with the contact business clients. I was also assigned to prepare a database for our upcoming project Basis Soft Expo’18. My work identified the expeditors & verify their contact. For those, I was attainted many meeting. Besides that, I was worked on stall execution side. My task was checking all inventories, keeping eyes on technicians and quality ensure to the client. That was not easy for me. But as an intern, I have done my job very well. That was a great achievement for me.
- 12. 12 | P a g e During my internship, I made a brochure on Japan Tourism with proposing a full plan of exhibitor’s travel itineraries and procedures to visit Japan during the International Trade Expo and also wrote some article based on Bangladesh tourism opportunities, Bangladesh History, and culture. Also, I have worked in R & D of the local event such as leather tech Bangladesh. The digital world, Basis soft expo. For this I was gathering all exhibitor’s rundown of past expo and the individuals who will go to the forthcoming expo and discover all organizations Location, contact number of any higher expert (Managing Director, Chairman, Director or Head of division), and the concerned Email address. In spite of these works, there was some routine work assigned to me like preparing aging report, meeting with client and vendor, coordinate my team, Database update and report the supervisor. It was my honor that I was assigned to different works in this short period of time. My contribution was always appreciated by my team.
- 13. 13 | P a g e Lessons Learned In these three months I had a lot of chance to learn different things from Studio Bitmap. For the first time I had an experience outside of our regular academic life. I have learned to implement my academic knowledge here. I have learned to perform in a competitive environment. With the practical working knowledge, I also have developed some interpersonal skills as mentioned bellow: Analytical Skill In my internship time I understood it very closely that analytical ability is very important in corporate life. Here we had to take various decisions in different perspective. Every month the work scenario changed and also, we have to give explanation to Head of department regarding this and also need to mention the future opportunities. Even we need to interact with different client always about different matters. But as an intern I was never in the decision taking meetings. Although I have observed and realized that maintaining company interest and also satisfying the Client is very difficult. Communication skill I have developed my communication skill through my internship period. As I was working in Marketing & Communication team so I had to go and communicate with client, guests and different vendors regarding different event. For the three event (DTG, Soft Expo and Dhaka Motor Show’18) I did minimum hundreds phone calls and many meeting with different organizations MD, CEO and department Heads. Also, managing the renowned business man was the best experience during this whole period. Sitting in front of Many top corporate people and convincing them about all their quarries about our Design and services. I am very confident now, and I have developed a strong networking capability. Also, being an intern preparing a presentation for management team was my achievement.
- 14. 14 | P a g e Technical Skills I have developed me excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop knowledge when working on it. I have prepared flyers for the Boishakhi sales activation on Adobe Photoshop which is improved my Photoshop skill. The team wanted to utilized my ideas of making power point, excel and they improvised to utilized it in the corporate world. I worked on excel for Event R&D and client management which was increased my knowledge on that sector. Cold Calling: I learned how to make cold call professionally from my Internship period. I made 100+ cold calls during 3 months of Internship. I have learned to convince corporate people from different organizations. Research & Development I have directed the assignment via looking through the web to discover the organizations in the market of Bangladesh and abroad. I need to influence a rundown of them with subtle elements of those specific organizations and furthermore to need to make a rundown of our esteemed and additionally potential customers and entered those information in a database framework for additionally contact. Interaction with Supervisor and Coworkers During my internship, I always interact with my supervisor. He always kept me busy by doing different projects. I asked questions to him if I need any help or when I did not understand the topics. If my assigned task was completed, then I submitted by emailing to him and took feedback. Whenever I passed leisure time I asked him to assist. I always try to drive myself so that he (supervisor) or other executives could not get bored by driving me. Likewise, in view of my assignments I got an opportunity to cooperate with nearly everybody in the office. The primary concern I saw that everybody was exceptionally useful towards me. I never felt disregarded by anybody. At whatever point I used to go to various offices for various works, they have dependably helped me emphatically regardless of whether they were occupied. Bitmap has given me some memories that I will cherish for rest of my life. I was just a small intern but the love and affection I got from them I can never forget these memories ever. On my last day in Bitmap, my team gave a lunch party in my honor. Not only that also my team members and other coworkers arranged a party in the evening for me. I was really overwhelmed by their love and affection for me. Also, I had a wonderful time with other interns. Everyone was so supportive and helpful. We used to have hangouts sometimes. Mainly in lunch time we all used to have a joyful time. So, concluding I would say that I was blessed that I completed my internship with these beautiful

Challenges Faced in Workplace Each work has some trouble and test. I had additionally confronted some genuine troubles and challenges. However, to beat those difficulties is a workmanship to achievement in the corporate level. I continuously overpowered when I got the assignments which I definitely knew how to finish those undertakings. I was constantly on edge about the new assignments which I didn't mindful. Be that as it may, I took after a few tenets which enable me to experience those troublesome difficulties. Differences between Expectations and Experience I had a different idea about corporate culture when I joined Bitmap. I used to think that corporate world would be very strict. I thought that I would be in a very unfriendly place where no one will help me or guide me. And if I do anything wrong, my boss will shout at me. So, to be honest I was actually a bit nervous when I first joined. However, after being in Bitmap my whole concept was changed. The place was actually beyond my imagination. All the interns and employees were actually allowed to take break anytime. We used to have tea or coffee anytime, chat with others, and eat wherever and whenever possible. I have seen the employees to have friendly conversations with each other between their works Bitmap maintains a flat organizational culture. Employees are given freedom to take their own decision. And because of these employees are much more involved with the organization. So, I really had a lifetime memory to cherish with. I have learned that even in a friendly way an organization can run in an effective way and also employees give their best output to the organization. I will really miss this workplace and wish to work in a friendly environment like Mirai in future.
- 18. 18 | P a g e How this internship influenced career plans In the wake of finishing my entry level position now I have a thought regarding the corporate world at this point. From the start of my scholastic life, I wanted to work in the scholarly field. I won't state that now I would prefer not to work in scholarly field however the dread I had about corporate life is presently diminished and I feel more certainty that I will improve the situation in corporate area now. Media transmission segment is currently extremely immersed. So, everybody here works in an exceptionally focused condition. However, the difficulties I confronted while working here now I would love to give a qualm on my profession design. Still I would need to work in scholarly part yet before that I would love to work in corporate area for quite a while. Would I Do Differently If I Had to Redo Internship Working with a Creative Agency is always a big achievement for everyone. I feel so lucky that I got a chance to work in a Creative Agency at the beginning of my work life. Studio Bitmap was a big opportunity for me to expand my knowledge about work life. I feel lucky that I got a chance to work here and with one of the most important departments. As a Marketing major student, it was a great opportunity for me to see my theoretical knowledge through practical experience. If I need to redo the internship, I will really want to work with the Marketing & communication team a bit. The reason behind this is I have seen them to work with numerous Client always. I think that would help me to deal with different situations in a single time. Also, if I want to build my career in this sector, it is very important to deal with the client in a proper

Conclusion This three-month internship program was a great learning experience for me. Now I can see myself in a different way. I have become more responsible and the practical work environment has taught me to deal with different situations. I have learned multitasking and working under pressure which is essential for any career-oriented person. I got the chance to learn a lot from all professional individuals. I have started thinking in a more constructive way now. There were some differences between theoretical knowledge and practical experience. For the first time I implemented my theoretical knowledge into real life. It was challenging, exciting but I can say that I have enjoyed each and every moment purely. So lastly, I would love to say that may be there were some limitations but in spite of all these the learning I have got from my internship it will definitely help me a lot to perform in a better manner in future.
