InTouch Machine Edition has the features that enables it to be sold as operator-panel software to End Users and OEMs (system builders and machine builders). InTouch Machine Edition up 3,000 Windows Embedded Compact Windows Embedded Standard. InTouch Machine Edition has out of the box features for integration with the Wonderware suite of products.

- #10: InTouch Panel PC: Compact is powered by an ARM-based Cortex 8 CPU and have 512 MB of RAM and have 1 GB of onboard storage. This low-end device is running InTouch Compact Edition powered on Windows CE 7.0. InTouch Panel PC: Standard is powered by a Dual-Core ATOM (or like processor) and will have 4 GB. It will be available with Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7). InTouch Panel PC: Premium is powered by an Intel i7 processor and will have 8 GB of RAM. It will be available with Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7).. All devices will have no moving parts. No fans and no rotating media drives. The Compact devices will run off of internal flash memory and the Standard and Premium devices will have (field-removable) Intel SSDs.

The data can be delivered to a centralized historian over a private WAN connection. Low speed lines (256Kbit or above) and high latency are supported so that data can be sent over satellite links if necessary. This enables data to reliably and securely be sent to Wonderware’s Historian where it can be aggregated, contextualized, retrieved and analyzed. Wonderware is storing the data so that it can be retrieved with standard SQL Server tools such as Excel or Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.
