- 2. ARC stands for Adolescence Resource Center. It’s a web-based interactive portal, located at NCERT. It works closely with the partner agencies KVS, NVS and NIOS. It provides uninterrupted access to varied resources related to adolescent health. It provides virtual interaction opportunities on issues related to adolescent well being for teachers, trainers, academicians, development practitioners, policy makers and the young people themselves. - 4. About AEP-The left hand bar demonstrates the categories under which this feature is organized. Resource Persons-You can also access the directory of all the resources persons of KVS, NVS and NIOS who have received orientation at the national level to further orient nodal teachers. KVS, NVS and NIOS Regional Centres-You can also see the list of entire KVs, JNVs, NIOS and their website at one place.11/28/2017 4
- 5. Resources-A digital library which is an important component of this online portal. Categories- Have been categorized by and there are further sub-categories within each. The user can also search particular keyword in the entire resources library using the Search option. The user can also download the resource by clicking on it. E-Discussion Forum •This is an accessible and dynamic forum for teachers and others in the school system to share their experiences related to implementation of AEP. •The EDF have 2 broad categories- Live Discussions Archived Discussions •Live Discussions-We have currently 2 live discussion open on the forum. To post a comment and take participate in the discussion forum a user has to be a registered user. •Archived discussions- These topics are closed. - 7. On the home page of the AEP-ARC, at the extreme right you will find the link Login/Register. Click it Click on Create new account for fresh registration. Fill in the credentials i.e. First name, Last name, Username, email address, Designation, District, City Organization name and address etc to complete the registration process. Please fill all the * fields mandatory. An automated mail will be sent to you e mail id with further instructions. Please remember your username. 11/28/2017 7

- 10. FAQ’s – It is an important feature of this portal. We have categorized the questions thematically. It helps us in to improve awareness about AEP. The user can ask the question by using the question box functionality provided at the home page of AEPARC. Events and announcements-Keep the users and visitors abreast with the upcoming events in the programme. Opinion Poll-It is quick, snappy way to know the opinion of the people visiting the websites.
