  • #12: Go over each link Content and Information look the same Tools- quick tool guide for students Help- blackboard help for students
  • #13: Add content by clicking on the + in the top left hand corner. You can add thinks like new content areas (content and information are examples of this). You can also add tool links (discussion boards,) or web links (links to an outside website) Use the drop down arrow to: Rename a link Delete items Go ahead and have them rename Information to Info and click the green check box
  • #14: Provides tools to create, manage, and enhance your courses Next we’re going to look at some of the course management menu options. Don’t forget to test some of these features in your sandbox course.
  • #15: Part of the course management menu is the control pane. This is what is used to make the content engaging or enhance the course appearance.
  • #16: This will make your course more aesthetically appealing. Go ahead and look at some of the teaching style options that are available to you. Note that you can see a sample course menu and examples of how each one can be used. If you choose to add one of these to your course, it will change the look and there is no way to go back to a blank course shell without deleting everything from the course menu.
