D2L will become the University of Colorado's new learning management system, replacing Blackboard. The transition plan includes piloting D2L in Spring 2011, making it optional in Fall 2011, default in Spring 2012, and requiring all courses to use it by Fall 2012. The presentation provided information on transferring course content from Blackboard to D2L, either by doing it yourself or requesting assistance from IT staff.
