- 8. TEXTILE FIBER The raw material(natural or artificial) which is used to produce in order to make fabric is called textile fiber.Example- cotton, Polyester etc.
- 10. INTRODUCTION TO YARN PRODUCTION Spinning is the major part of the textile manufacturing process where three types of fibers are converted into yarn,fabrics,finishing process such as bleaching to become textiles.

- 13. TYPES OF FABRIC Woven fabric:Woven fabrics are made by using two or more sets of yarn interlaced at right angles to each other.
- 14. TYPES OF FABRIC Knitted fabric:Knitted fabric are made by intermeshing of loops of yarn and can be composed of any kind of fiber, yarn and industrial end-uses.
