Comic Relief and UK online centres.
○ Partners: Built on partnerships from 'Making Money
Work' with some new partnerships too.
○ Centres: Centres involved at all levels, from mapping
content to testing with learners
○ Experts: Experts used where we need them as we're
not always experts
Inclusions
○ Deciding what's in: High level topics, skills to do
things, simple tasks to build confidence
Exclusions
○ Deciding what to leave out: The detail
About Look after the Pennies
Using Look after the Pennies
● Delivering the course: break down to topics, relate
them to learners, include offline activities
○ Not rocket science
● Supporting resources: Use the tools that exist. Don't
stick to ones picked out, there are more. If you find
others that beat the ones we link to - tell us!
○ Use partners tools
○ Share what you find useful
● Continuing learning: Intend for learners to repeat till
they feel comfortable
○ Designed to provide practice
Future changes
● Accessibility: Flash engine limits, identified
immediate improvements if we can change
○ Image sizing and tags
● Other form factors: leading on from those
accessibility issues, using HTML also opens up other
forms, expected soon.
○ Tablets and smart phones
● Feedback: any thoughts, problems, ideas or requests
we do have a 'wish list' so get them in to us
