8 tips for putting together a good slide show

From the overhead projector times for the older ones to the presentations and digital
whiteboards for the younger ones, projections and slides can be important allies in education.
However, teachers should pay attention to the stage of making this material, observing some
points so that it does not overwhelm students with too much information and, consequently, lose
their attention.
These instructions are valid for any time, especially during distance classes mediated by
technology. The idea is that the slides help the teacher to tell a story and be a complement to
his explanations, and not a reading aloud of what is written on the screen.

the biggest challenge for students. For this reason, it is important not only to put yourself in the
position of a student and do an exercise of imagining difficulties that they may face - including
anticipating some doubts that may arise - but, in fact, researching and evaluating what are the
biggest challenges of the class regarding to that discipline or subject in question. The strategy
here is to think about what your audience's biggest problem is and how you can help them solve
it.
Make a script
Writing everything important in the presentation as a topic can be a way of not leaving anything
out, grouping information, thinking about new arrangements and layout of the content on the
slides and giving ideas for supporting content, such as links to videos, images and illustrations
