This document describes a proposed Android-based mobile application called "Missing Person" that uses facial recognition technology to help find missing persons. The application would allow users to upload photos and details of missing individuals to a database. Other users, like government officials and local community members, could then upload photos of found persons to check against the database and potentially identify missing persons. The proposed application aims to automate and streamline the missing persons identification process compared to traditional manual methods. It is designed to reduce the time required to identify missing persons and make the process more efficient with less effort. The application would be developed using Python, Django and facial recognition libraries to enable matching of photos within the database.
