This document describes a prototype object sorting machine that uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller and ultrasonic sensor. The machine sorts objects based on their height, with the conveyor belt moving objects to different sides depending on if they are above or below a set height threshold. It is able to sort 10 objects per minute. The machine is intended to help reduce costs for manual sorting in warehouses and industries. It provides a low-cost automation solution using easily available components like an Arduino, motor, sensor, and conveyor belt.
