Cloud formation - definitions vary, but the basic idea is the same Cloud Computing is an emerging IT development, deployment and delivery model,  enabling real-time delivery of products, services and solutions (i.e., enabling cloud services) over the Internet (IDC) Cloud computing is Internet based development and use of computer technology. It is a style of computing in which typically real-time scalable resources are provided as a service over the internet (Wikipedia) Cloud: the new home and business network Copyright © 2009 Accenture All Rights Reserved.
Cloud Computing Definition Cloud Computing is a collection of network hosted services accessible from anywhere. Copyright © 2009 Accenture All Rights Reserved. Attributes: Services are sourced via networks and are housed “somewhere else” Reliability and scalability logic remain hidden giving the illusion of infinite (elastic) capacity. These services are programmatically controlled on-demand Charges are consumption based – no upfront investment Loosely coupled set of services
