This research presents a java-centered translator-based multi-paradigm software development environment called Sourcemerge, which allows the integration of software components written in various programming languages, specifically Lisp and Prolog, into a single Java application. The study demonstrates the functionalities of this environment by developing a calculator application, showcasing how different programming paradigms can be leveraged for their strengths. Ultimately, the findings highlight the potential of this multi-paradigm approach to enhance software quality and developer productivity, although challenges related to translator compatibility and integration remain.
